Things that make you go - WTF????

Ok all - I need to shake my head and wonder what the hell the people in the FDA (or whoever the f**k does it) think of when they do their 'serving size'. I had a hard enough time with the pint of Ben and Jerry's that serves 4 or the package of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that serves 2 = but I have found another one that has sent me over the freaking edge _ LMAO!!!
We recently bought a jar of Velasic pickles - and by jar I mean tankard. It's a HUGE jar. My son loves to snack on them! So - I go to put one in my lunch today because hell - I thought it was a good idea!!! Something made me look at the nutritional facts on the jar. Along with the fact that there are 48 servings in this jar - I read that each serving has 5 calories. I'm thinking that's a pretty good little snack - right???? Let me fill ya in on the what really caught my attention:
Servings per container = 48
Calories per serving = 5
SERVING SIZE = (and I am not making this up) = 1/4 of a pickle
EXCUSE ME??? WTF???? 1/4 of a pickle???? Who the hell came up with that crap???
So - in trying to process this in my head - I immediately focus on the "servings per container" part = does that mean they think there are only 12 pickles in this big ass jar? I don't think so! Not to mention the pickles themselves are only about 3-4 inches long and maybe (and that is a BIG maybe) 1 inch around. The jar stands a foot tall and is about 6 inches around.
And don't get me started on the fact that the pickles are all different sizes. So does that mean that a serving a 1/4 of a smaller pickle or a larger pickle!!!
LMAO - this was my morning and I am obviously still not over it!!! I just had to share!!!
