Food for thought Friday


Ok – I bummed this idea off my bestest bud in Vegas! I thought it was a great idea. (hey – she bummed it off someone else – so there!!! LMAO)

Food for thought Fridays!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!
(I love to cook – so getting new recipes is wonderful for me)

Here is what I made last nite (part of it is left over from Sunday’s din din)

History – Sunday nite we had a smoked chicken! If you have never done this – I highly recommend trying it! I bought a 5 lb chicken and smoke it over indirect heat (250 degrees) most of Sunday (7 hours) – it is the most amazing and juicy chicken EVER!!!

Anyway – we always have leftovers so last nite – I made a smoke chicken alfredo, over butter noodles.

Very simple:
One jar alfredo sauce (your choice)
Chopped pieces of left over smoked chicken
Heavy cream to dilute the sauce a bit

Heat sauce with chicken added. Boiled butter noodles. Serve together with some French bread and side of peas. (a salad would work too)
